Lymphoedema Treatment
Lymphoedema treatment is a specific and specialised approach to managing the swelling associated with the condition. Our Lymphoedema physiotherapist, Amy Winter, provides management consisting of: Education, Skin care, Exercise, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Compression therapy following best-practice guidelines. Compression garments are very individual and having correct fit means each is ordered specifically for the individual.
Amy is one of very few physios in our area who are fully trained in managing lymphoedema and she does accept patients under Medicare Care Plans.
