Philosophy of Care

We are a group pf physiotherapists who are intent on providing the best quality, caring service we can for our communities. We believe strongly in improving our own skills so that we can best serve the diverse needs of clients within our community. We have shown this by accomplishing excellent results in further education culminating in the awarding of Title of APA Sports Physiotherapist to Steve Royes and the specific skills of other therapists in managing lymphoedema, hand injuries, chronic pain and Pilates and exercise-based management.

Additionally we aim to provide specialist services over and above the usual training required by physiotherapists. We do not claim to be expert unless we have done the work – our community is not a market, it is our neighbourhood. So when we talk about getting the best results for our community it is based on not just work we have done but work we are continually doing to improve.

We are able to therefore offer hand therapy, Pilates, Lymphoedema, Vesitbular and dizziness rehabilitation, Sports Physiotherapy including screening and monitoring and a high degree of clinical reasoning skills to ensure the best management of the problems people seek us for.

As a result of years of hard work and high quality practice, we have excellent relationships with local doctors and specialists. We know that we don’t know everything and can’t treat everything – so we strive to have relationships with medical and allied health services that mean even when we can’t help, we can point you in the right direction.

We believe in manual therapy and exercise therapy. We utilise modalities such as dry needling in our care. The goal is always the same – to recognise the goals a patient has and to work toward them by accurately assessing and diagnosing problems, identifying barriers to care and reducing them and intervening with therapy that is best practice and informed by the latest research and eminent opinion.

Your results become our reputation. Your results become our job satisfaction. We want you to feel confident to ask us for advice when your body just doesn’t feel right.
